About Ro
Ro Boddie is a actor and educator whose commanding performances have distinguished him on stages and screens nationwide. Renowned for his work in groundbreaking plays by August Wilson, Dominique Morisseau, and Katori Hall, he brings equal mastery to the classical canon, with acclaimed roles in works by Shakespeare and Chekhov.
An Adjunct Instructor at American University and a Resident Artist at Round House Theatre, Boddie is deeply committed to cultivating the next generation of theater artists. His career spans regional theatre, Off-Broadway, and television, with notable appearances on The Good Wife and Godfather of Harlem. A graduate of the UNC School of the Arts, Ro Boddie is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.
