About Ro

Ro Boddie is a distinguished actor and educator acclaimed for his powerful portrayals of Martin Luther King Jr. Having played the civil rights icon five times, Boddie currently stars in the world premiere of The American Five at Ford's Theatre. An Adjunct Instructor at American University and Resident Artist at Round House Theatre, his credits span regional theatre, Off-Broadway, and television, including The Good Wife and Godfather of Harlem. A graduate of UNC School of the Arts, Boddie is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
